Buy Kelso gamefowl broodcocks (18 months)
At Game Fowls Ranch, our Kelso gamefowl bloodlines are strictly line-bred and preserved to uphold classic physical standards, erect posture, high intelligence, and dense bone density. As a mature broodcock, this male demonstrates broad-set shoulders, a deep muscular chest, light red to golden-amber hackles flowing over a solid dark red body, clean bright yellow shanks, and a low pea or small turkey comb on a thick, alert head.
Every broodcock selected for dispatch undergoes rigorous physical evaluation and health conditioning:
-
Selective Conformation: Chosen strictly for wide shoulder symmetry, upright station, thick leg bone diameter, straight spinal alignment, and broad chest width.
-
Peak Athletic & Fertile Conditioning: Maintained on high-protein breeder feeds, whole grains, fresh green forage, and essential vitamins/minerals to guarantee maximum semen viability, high egg fertility, and robust physical vigor.
-
Health & Bio-Security Protocol: Fully vaccinated, dewormed, and inspected for clear airways, bright eyes, unblemished legs, and sound cardiovascular stamina prior to crating.
-
Climate-Controlled Live Express Delivery: Shipped inside heavy-duty, state-approved live poultry transit crates lined with absorbent bedding and moisture-rich fruits/hydration gels to guarantee a safe, low-stress journey.
