Russian Orloff Day Old Chicks
Introduce historic cold-weather endurance, impressive facial beards and muffs, broad athletic station, and striking spangled mahogany plumage to your flock by ordering Purebred Russian Orloff Day-Old Chicks, available directly from Game Fowls Ranch. Believed to have originated in Persia before being further developed by Count Orloff-Tchesmensky in Russia during the late 18th century, the Russian Orloff (Gallus gallus domesticus) is revered worldwide by heritage poultry preservers, homesteaders, and exhibition breeders for its unique game-like appearance, padded head crest, dense facial muffling, walnut comb, and unmatched resistance to extreme winter frost.
Starting with day-old Russian Orloff chicks allows you to raise, hand-acclimate, and brood your foundation flock directly on your property, establishing strong flock immunity, gentle handling, and custom management from day one.
